§ 5158. Lowering lights when overtaking another vehicle

Whenever a vehicle approaches another vehicle from the rear within a distance of three hundred (300) feet, the driver of the approaching vehicle, if using the high beam of the headlights, shall lower the same as required in subsection (a) of § 5405 of this title.

Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall incur an administrative fault and be punished with a fine of twenty-five dollars ($25).
