§ 3522. Obligations—Secretary of the Treasury

The Secretary of the Treasury shall provide to the Secretary the information in his/her power so as to enable the Department of Transportation and Public Works to incorporate into the Register, data on all heavy construction or agricultural equipment units introduced in Puerto Rico.

This information shall include, among other details, the following:

(1) Name and address of the sender of the unit and place of origin.

(2) Name and address of the recipient of the unit.

(3) A description of the unit, including the make, year, model or type, color, VIN, register number, type of engine, and any other identification number or mark of the unit or its parts.

(4) Date of arrival to Puerto Rico, means of transportation indicating the name of the transportation company and its bill of lading.

(5) Date of delivery to the recipient or his/her representative.

(6) Amount paid in excises, if any, date of payment, and name of the person or entity that made the payment.
