P.R. Laws tit. 9, § 2071
The following terms have the meaning stated below:
(1) Insurer. — Any insurer authorized by the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico to contract vehicle insurance in Puerto Rico.
(2) Airbag. — A system that has been installed for the protection of vehicle occupants whose main element is a bag which is filled with air during an accident thus preventing the occupants of said vehicle from colliding with its dashboard or windshield.
(3) Garage or automobile repair shop. — Any place engaged in repairing automobiles as defined in the “Puerto Rico Vehicles and Traffic Act”, §§ 5001 et seq. of this title.
(4) Vehicle. — Any means of transportation as defined in the “Puerto Rico Vehicles and Traffic Act”, §§ 5001 et seq. of this title.
