The registered agent of one (1) or more corporations organized in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico may file at the Department of State a certificate of his/her resignation to the office, stating the name and address of the registered agent who shall replace him/her, pursuant to the provisions of § 3502 of this title.
The certificate shall be enclosed with statements of the authorized officers from the affected corporations ratifying and approving such change of registered agent. Each statement shall be executed in accordance with § 3503 of this title. Once these requirements are met, the successor registered agent of the corporation shall be the new registered agent.
