§ 1183. Detailed record of accidents; legal representation

The Administrator shall keep a detailed record of the occupational accidents and diseases suffered by the members of the correctional population while engaged in the activities provided in this chapter and of their claims. He/she shall also take steps to obtain the designation of a legal representative to represent the member of the correctional population in any procedure or appearance that may be necessary, before the Administrator of the State Insurance Fund, the Industrial Commission or the courts, that are connected with the claim to which the member of the correctional population may be entitled under the provisions of the “Work Accidents Compensation Act”. The term to appeal the decisions of the Administrator of the State Insurance Fund, or the orders of the Industrial Commission, shall begin to be counted from the date of notice to the injured person, through the Administration.
