§ 857. Collection of fees of public documents—Documents without stamps not admitted in courts and public offices

From and after the date on which this act takes effect, there shall not be admitted in any court or public office of Puerto Rico any of the documents or instruments covered by §§ 851—858 of this title, on which there have not been affixed and cancelled internal revenue stamps for the values fixed by said sections.
