§ III. Committees of the Judicial Conference; duties

The Supreme Court shall appoint a standing executive committee and advisory committees. Each committee shall have its own chair. These committees shall be in charge of fulfilling the purposes of the Conference and carrying out any special business entrusted to them. Once the committees are organized, the Court shall call them to joint or separate meetings to commence work. Each committee shall meet on such dates and at such places as the chair may determine to receive, discuss, and consider the steps taken with regard to the subject matter falling within the sphere of its particular responsibility or commission; and shall submit to the Supreme Court, within the period fixed therefor, a full report of its work and recommendations.
