§ 157. Loans on products and agricultural implements—Creditor’s preference

The creditor shall collect his loan from the proceeds of the sale in preference to any other creditor or person who may claim rights upon the agriculturist or upon the goods given as guaranty, except actions originating under the Mortgage Law, Title 30, and the Court of First Instance shall immediately deliver to said creditor the amount of his loan, deducting only the legal costs if there be no resulting excess.
