The Administration shall be exempt from the payment of taxes on the acquisition of personal property to be used in carrying out its purposes, as well as on the payment of the income and property taxes and license fees, including those for motor vehicles, patents, rights, permits, and registrations required or provided by whatever laws are applicable.
Any contract or document executed by the Administration before a notary public shall be exempt from payment of the fees prescribed by any law that provides for the collection of fees on documents executed before a notary public in Puerto Rico. Said documents or contracts shall be registered free of charge in the various sections of the Property Registry of Puerto Rico, and in any other office of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or its political subdivisions, in which the inscription, registration or presentation of said documents or contracts should be necessary. The property registrars and persons in charge of other government offices shall issue any certificate requested by the Administration related to the purposes of this chapter free of charge.
