Once the real property is constituted under this regime pursuant to this subchapter, the aforementioned housing units may be transferred and encumbered individually, become objects of control or possession and of any other type of inter vivos or causa mortis legal acts, independent from the remainder of the real property of which they are part, subject to the provisions in this subchapter and the regulations approved pursuant to it, and the corresponding deeds shall be registered in the Property Registry, according to the provisions of this chapter and of the Mortgage Law and the Property Registry Act, §§ 2001 et seq. of Title 30.
