§ 119. Board of Drawing; qualifications

Each drawing shall be inspected by a Board of Drawing which shall be composed of three (3) persons of good reputation and qualified for the discharge of their duties, who shall not be officials or employees of agencies, corporations or municipalities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or the Government of the United States of America, and who shall be designated by the Director of the Bureau of the Lottery at least three (3) days prior to the date of the drawing. Each member of the Board of Drawing shall receive a compensation of fifty dollars ($50) per drawing. Provided, That the person appointed as Chairperson of the Board shall receive a compensation of seventy-five dollars ($75) per drawing. This expense shall be defrayed from the Lottery Fund and shall be included in the budget of the Bureau of the Lottery of Puerto Rico. Both the balls and the globes may be examined, with the permission of the Chairperson of the Board of Drawing, by the public present at the drawings.
