§ 906. Requirements

The Board shall establish by regulation the requirements to be met by all who claim any assistance, including, without it being understood as a limitation, the following situations:

(a) That the eligible ex-boxer has mental conditions that require psychological or psychiatric treatment which is not covered by a private or Commonwealth health plan, and which the ex-boxer is unable to defray.

(b) That the eligible ex-boxer has financial problems of such a nature that he cannot make the necessary payments to maintain his residence and defray the cost of his most basic living needs.

(c) That the eligible ex-boxer needs economic assistance for the litigation of warranted legal cases of a civil-contractual nature, as long as he qualifies due to not having the financial means to defray them.

(d) That the eligible ex-boxer needs economic assistance for the litigation of warranted legal cases of a civil-contractual nature, as long as he qualifies due to not having the financial means to defray them.

(e) That the eligible boxer needs assistance for rehabilitation from habitual drug addiction or alcoholism, as long as he cannot pay for it due to his not having sufficient financial means.

(f) Other situations, the circumstances of which shall be evaluated to determine whether they are warranted.
