§ 568. Pee Wee Reese World Tournament

(a) The “Pee Wee Reese World Tournament”, the Children’s and Teenage Leagues of the American Amateur Baseball Congress, is hereby officially created, to be held in Levittown, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico.

(b) Upon the approval of this act, the Sports and Recreation Department is hereby authorized to use up to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to defray the operating expenses of the “Pee Wee Reese World Tournament” to be held in Levittown, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. These funds shall originate from the “Special Fund for the Development of Minor Leagues”, created under § 810 of this title. The Sports and Recreation Department shall establish the norms for disbursing the funds allotted for the holding of this Tournament.

The entity organizing the “Pee Wee Reese World Tournament” shall render a report with a detailed account of the expenses defrayed with fund appropriation. The expenditure report shall be submitted to the Secretary of Sports and Recreation not later than thirty (30) days following the date on which the Tournament is held.
