§ 1729. Reasons for separation

The Board of Directors may expel a member if it considers that the member:

(a) Has acted against the objectives and purposes of the cooperative.

(b) Has not complied with his duties.

(c) Has incurred in conduct that morally and materially affects the cooperative.

(d) Has breached the provisions of this chapter.

(e) Has issued or cashed checks that are fraudulent or without sufficient funds in violation of the provisions of the Civil Code of Puerto Rico.

(f) Has breached the provisions of the school bylaws and the bylaws of cooperative conduct.
