§ 1607. Extension of loan security

The security of loans may be extended in accordance with the provisions of § 1603 of this title to loans adequately secured by mortgages on real or personal property. An amount for working capital, not exceeding the capital contributed by the members, or two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000), whichever is lesser, may also be secured and shall be redeemed within a term of not more than ten (10) years.
