§ 1252. Powers

The Committee on Monuments to Illustrious Puerto Ricans, in accordance with norms adopted to the effect, shall designate the Puerto Rican personalities to whose memories monuments will be erected in accordance with the terms of this chapter; shall determine the location of the same and manner in which the designs for the monuments shall be chosen which are to be erected as well as the designation of the architects, sculptors and other artists to whom the erection of such may be ordered.

The Committee shall also adopt bylaws for its internal operation and for the administration of the funds it may have available for the carrying out of its commitment.
