§ 1199a. Special Fund—Creation

A special fund to be designated as the “Special Fund of the Theatrical Division of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture” is hereby created in the books of the Department of the Treasury of Puerto Rico, which shall be attached to the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, and without a specific fiscal year. It shall be governed pursuant to the rules and regulations that the Institute adopts with the prior approval of the Secretary of the Treasury, in harmony with the provisions in force for the administration of similar funds. This fund shall be kept apart from other public funds under its custody. Said fund shall be composed of the following items which shall be used by the Theatrical Division for the promotion of the dramatic arts:

(a) The appropriations provided by §§ 1199a—1199e of this title and those which the Legislature may allot in the future to the special fund created herein.

(b) Any other monies donated, transferred or yielded by bodies of the United States, Commonwealth or municipal governments or by private entities or persons.

These items shall be deposited in said Special Fund by the Executive Director of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and by the Director of the Theatrical Division, respectively, and shall be used for the purposes provided in §§ 1199a—1199e of this title.
