The preferred artistic participation of students of Specialized Schools of Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Dance, and Communications in Puerto Rico, similar programs of other public schools of Puerto Rico, and organizations established as youth cooperatives in schools is hereby authorized in the activities of the agencies, public corporations, and other government entities of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as well as those of the municipalities.
Likewise, the granting of a stipend to every participating student and organization established as a youth cooperative in a school is hereby authorized for any artistic collaboration in such activities.
Moreover, an additional payment or special compensation is hereby authorized in applicable cases to personnel of the Department of Education who are regularly employed and perform tasks related to activities in which the students participate.
