§ 994. Free music schools—Faculties; standard for compensation

The faculty of each school may be composed of teachers of [solfeggio], harmony, singing, history of music and musical appreciation, string instruments, wooden instruments, metal and percussion instruments, teachers of orchestration and piano. The teachers shall cooperate among themselves for the purpose of obtaining the largest possible number of pupils, as well as the most complete training thereof, and they shall receive decent salaries which will permit them to devote their time exclusively to their work as teachers.
