§ 992. Free music schools—Directors; appointments, qualifications, duties

The Secretary of Education shall appoint a director for each one of the free schools of music. The selection of director of a Free School of Music of Puerto Rico shall fall on a candidate who, in the opinion of the Secretary, has the best qualifications of fitness, ability and experience, and the director of each school, so appointed, shall be empowered to designate the auxiliary personnel he may deem necessary, and he shall regulate the discipline and internal order of the institution.
