The sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is hereby appropriated from any available funds in the Commonwealth Treasury to the Agricultural Experiment Station of the University of Puerto Rico, which sum shall be covered into a trust fund which shall be known as Sugar Industry Research Trust Fund, to carry out research work on any phase of or related to the sugar industry.
