§ 316f. Offerings of universities

The Secretary shall coordinate and promote jointly with the President of the University of Puerto Rico and the presidents of other universities and educational institutions, within and outside of Puerto Rico, the offering of post-graduate study programs by the University of Puerto Rico and other universities or education institutions in and abroad, in order to meet the needs of the Public Education System, and specifically those of the members of the teaching career. He/she shall also promote the organization of activities for the professional development of teachers. In addition, they shall promote the execution of agreements between universities and educational institutions of the country, and of other countries; as well as establishing credit validation systems for the hours participated in continuing education programs given by the universities and educational institutions.
