§ 99. Commonwealth Industrial School for Boys—Period of detention

Every person detained in the Commonwealth Industrial School for Boys by judicial order shall remain therein until reaching the age of nineteen (19) years, unless he is previously granted conditional or definite liberty, and it shall be so stated in the sentence; Provided, That any person detained in said school may remain therein until reaching the age of twenty-one (21), if, in the opinion of the director of the school said person would benefit thereby.
