§ 114. Juvenile home in San Juan—Temporary detention

The admission of minors to the juvenile home in San Juan shall be of a temporary character, their stay therein to be limited to the time absolutely necessary to carry out the investigation, study, and disposition of their cases by the Court of First Instance, and in special cases to lodge, for a period which shall never exceed three (3) months, the delinquent minors whose cases have been decided and whose admission to the Industrial School for Boys has not been ordered by the Court of First Instance, and who, for any reason, cannot be admitted immediately.
