The court shall hold a final disposition hearing of the case within a term that shall not exceed six (6) months from the date of notification, as provided in § 1152 of this title. In any case decided pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, the court shall rule in favor of the best interests of the minor, according to the public policy established herein.
