§ 548c. Appropriate forum

The General Court of Justice will be the appropriate forum for interstate cases filed before July 1, 1995. The Administration for Child Support will be the appropriate forum for cases that commence after said date.

For purposes of this chapter, any case regarding the duty of support filed before July 1, 1995 in which Puerto Rico acts as recurring state, the General Court of Justice will maintain jurisdiction over said cases and the Attorney General will continue to assume legal presentation, if appropriate. The controlling substantive and procedural law will be the one established herein.
