(a) Disabled.— Means any person suffering from any major physical defect [that] constitutes an occupational disability as defined by Article 2 of Act No. 414 of May 13, 1947.
(b) Severely disabled.— Is a person with a physical and/or mental impediment which limits him/her seriously in his/her functional capacities (mobility, communication, personal care, individual sense of direction, tolerance in work or in his/her work skills) in terms of employability; and whose vocational rehabilitation requires manifold services of the program for [a] prolonged time; or who has one or more than one physical or mental impediment as defined by the Program.
(c) Department.— Means the Department of the Family.
(d) Program.— Means the Vocational Rehabilitation Program of the Department of the Family.
