Section 311A.142 - Reciprocity for certification or licensure of member of military as emergency medical responder, emergency medical technician, advanced emergency medical technician, or paramedic - Reciprocity of licensure and certification with another state - Administrative regulations
(1) Any member of the United States military who is registered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an emergency medical responder, emergency medical technician, advanced emergency medical technician, or paramedic shall be eligible for reciprocity for Kentucky certification or licensure at the same certification or licensure level.
(2) Any emergency medical responder, emergency medical technician, advanced emergency medical technician, or paramedic that is currently certified or licensed and in good standing with another state may be eligible for reciprocity at the same certification or licensure level in accordance with administrative regulations promulgated in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A.
(3) The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A as necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
