Section 202A.428 - Revocation of advance directive for mental health treatmentAn advance directive may be revoked by:
(1) A document that is signed and dated by the grantor and declares an intention to revoke;(2) An oral statement of intent to revoke made by a grantor to a health care provider in the presence of some other person; or(3) Destruction of the document by the grantor or by some person in the grantor's presence at the grantor's direction.Effective:6/24/2003
