Section 75-6901 - Application of act; awarding authority defined(a) The provisions of this act shall govern all contracts entered into by agencies of the state of Kansas and all political and taxing subdivisions of this state for the construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, dismantling or demolition of buildings, streets, roads, highways, bridges, water and sewer and gas mains, plants and facilities, airports, dams and levies and every other type of structure or improvement.(b) For the purposes of this act "awarding authority" shall mean the agency of the state or the political or taxing subdivision requesting bids and awarding contracts governed by this act.L. 1995, ch. 69, § 1; July 1.
