Section 75-NEW - [Newly enacted section not yet numbered] [Prohibited regulation regulation or restriction on use or sale of motor vehicles by public based on energy source](a) No state agency, city or county shall regulate or restrict the use or sale of motor vehicles by the public based on the energy source used to power a motor vehicle, including propulsion or for powering other functions of the motor vehicle.(b) The restriction in subsection (a) does not affect any policy established by a state agency or a municipality for the purchase of vehicles for use by a state agency or a municipality.(c) "Municipality" means the same as defined in K.S.A. 75-6102, and amendments thereto.Added by L. 2024, ch. 16,§ 1, eff. 7/1/2024.
