Section 74-5048 - Division of trade development; powersThe division of trade development is hereby authorized and empowered to:
(a) Promote the export of Kansas products outside the state and the United States;(b) develop and conduct trade development and market research missions to foreign markets and host foreign buying teams visiting Kansas;(c) prepare and distribute an export directory and other specialized product information to foreign buyers;(d) identify and develop foreign trade leads;(e) coordinate with and disseminate information regarding the international grains program and international trade institute conducted at Kansas state university; and(f) coordinate with and disseminate information regarding any international trade activities of the division of markets of the Kansas department of agriculture.L. 1986, ch. 296, § 18; L. 2004, ch. 101, § 129; July 1.
