Section 74-2806 - State podiatry board of examiners abolished; preservation of rules and regulations, orders and directives(a) The state board of healing arts shall be the successor in every way of the powers, duties and functions of the state podiatry board of examiners in which the same were vested prior to the effective date of this order, except as herein otherwise provided.(b) The state board of healing arts shall be the successor in every way to the powers, duties and functions of the secretary of the state podiatry board of examiners in which the same were vested prior to the effective date of this order, except as herein otherwise provided.(c) Whenever the state podiatry board of examiners, or the podiatry board of examiners, or words of like effect, is referred to or designated by a statute, contract or other document, such reference or designation shall be deemed to apply to the state board of healing arts.(d) Whenever the secretary of the state podiatry board of examiners, or the secretary of the state podiatry board, or words of like effect, is referred to or designated by a statute, contract or other document, such reference or designation shall be deemed to apply to the state board of healing arts.(e) All rules and regulations and all orders or directives of the state podiatry board of examiners in existence on the effective date of this order shall continue to be effective and shall be deemed to be the rules and regulations and orders or directives of the state board of healing arts, until revised, amended, repealed or nullified pursuant to law.(f) The state podiatry board of examiners established by K.S.A. 74-2801 is hereby abolished.L. 1975, ch. 390, § 2; July 1.
