(a) The board shall charge and collect in advance fees provided for in this act as fixed by the board by rules and regulations, subject to the following limitations: Application fee, not more than | $80 |

(b) The board shall charge and collect in advance fees for any examination administered by the board under the respiratory therapy practice act as fixed by the board by rules and regulations in an amount equal to the cost to the board of the examination.
