Section 23-2202 - DefinitionsAs used in K.S.A. 23-2202 through 23-2204, and amendments thereto, except where the context otherwise requires:
(a) "Birthing hospital" means a hospital or facility as defined by rules and regulations of the secretary for children and families.(b) "IV-D program" means a program for providing services pursuant to part D of title IV of the federal social security act (42 U.S.C. § 651 et seq.), and amendments thereto.(c) "Unwed mother" means a mother who was not married at the time of conception, at the time of birth or at any time between conception and birth.Amended by L. 2014, ch. 115,§ 31, eff. 7/1/2014.L. 1994, ch. 292, § 1; July 1.
