Section 22a-241 - DefinitionsAs used in K.S.A. 22a-241 through 22a-244, and amendments thereto:
(a) "Child" means a person less than 18 years of age.(b) "Pathologist" means a forensic pathologist, if available. Otherwise, "pathologist" means a physician licensed to practice medicine and surgery and qualified to conduct an autopsy.(c) "State review board" means the state child death review board established by K.S.A. 22a-243.(d) "Suspicious circumstances" includes, but is not limited to, abuse or neglect.L. 1992, ch. 312, § 31; July 1.
