Section 9-24-6.1-9 - Failure to comply with out-of-service order; civil penalty(a) A person that violates or fails to comply with an out-of-service order is subject to a civil penalty in accordance with federal law.(b) A civil penalty assessed under this section:(1) must be collected by the clerk of the court and transferred: (A) to the motor vehicle highway account; or(B) to the bureau for deposit in the motor vehicle highway account; and(2) is a judgment subject to proceedings supplemental by the bureau.Pre-2016 Revision Citation: 9-24-6-19.
