Section 9-24-11-9 - Individuals with medical condition causing appearance of intoxication(a) This section applies to an individual who has an existing medical condition that causes the individual to appear intoxicated.(b) A driver's license or permit (issued under IC 9-24-3), or a chauffeur's or a public passenger chauffeur's permit or license, issued to an individual under this section must bear a restriction on the permit or license.(c) An individual who wishes to have a driver's license or permit (issued under IC 9-24-3), or a chauffeur's or a public passenger chauffeur's permit or license, issued under this section must provide a verified certificate from a physician licensed to practice in Indiana attesting to the individual's medical condition.
