Section 9-21-17-4 - Crosswalks; local authorities; designation by ordinance A local authority:
(1) may, by ordinance, prohibit pedestrians from crossing a roadway in a business district or a designated highway except in a crosswalk, which may be established by the ordinance; and(2) shall mark the crosswalks in a manner conforming to the uniform system of traffic control devices created under IC 9-21-3.Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-4-1-86(b).
