Section 9-13-0.1-1 - P.L.2-1991 codification; no effect on rights, liabilities, penalties, violations, or proceedings; references(a) P.L.2-1991 is intended to be a codification and restatement of applicable or corresponding provisions repealed by P.L.2-1991, SECTION 109. If P.L.2-1991 repeals and replaces a provision in the same form or in a restated form, the substantive operation and effect of that provision continue uninterrupted.(b) P.L.2-1991 does not affect any: (1) rights or liabilities accrued;(3) violations committed; or(4) proceedings begun; before July 1, 1991. Those rights, liabilities, penalties, offenses, and proceedings continue and shall be imposed and enforced under prior law as if P.L.2-1991 had not been enacted.
(c) A reference in a statute or rule to a statute that is repealed and replaced in the same or a different form in P.L.2-1991 shall be treated after July 1, 1991, as a reference to the new provision.Added by P.L. 220-2011, SEC. 208, eff. 7/1/2011.
