Section 8-23-9-31 - Claims against contractors; payment of amount adjudged due

If an action is filed and the department notified under section 30 of this chapter, the department shall continue to hold the amount until the final determination of the action. If it is adjudged that the amount or a part is due to the claimant, the department shall pay the amount adjudged due to the claimant to the clerk of the court rendering the judgment.
