Section 8-23-9-22 - Hourly wage rates

A bid submitted for the construction or betterment of a state highway must contain a statement stipulating the hourly rate for laborers. The hourly rate may not be lower than the hourly rate paid for common labor by the department. The hourly rate in the bid becomes a part of the contract.
