Section 8-2.1-24-1 - Applicability of chapter(a) This chapter applies to the certification of a motor carrier providing intrastate transportation by motor vehicle of property or passengers for compensation.(b) Section 18 of this chapter applies to the regulation of the following persons: (1) A motor carrier described in subsection (a).(2) Except as provided in section 18(j) of this chapter, a private carrier of persons or property, or both.As added by P.L. 110-1995, SEC.29.
