Section 8-2.1-22-30 - Amendment, change, suspension, or revocation of certificate or permit(a) Any certificate or permit, upon application of the holder of the certificate or permit, in the discretion of the department, may be amended or revoked in whole or in part, or may, upon complaint or on the department's own initiative, after notice and hearing, be suspended, changed or revoked in whole or in part for willful failure to comply with any provision of this chapter, or with any lawful order or rule prescribed by the department, or with any term, condition, or limitation of the certificate or permit.(b) In any cause instituted by the department on its own initiative, the burden is on the carrier to show cause why the certificate or permit should not be suspended, changed, or revoked in whole or in part and the department, by its authorized representative, may introduce evidence in the hearing.As added by P.L. 99-1989, SEC.13.
