Section 8-21-9-25 - Refunding bonds

The commissioner may, subject to IC 8-9.5-5-8(6) (repealed), provide for the issuance of airport revenue refunding bonds of the state payable solely from revenues for the purpose of refunding any bonds then outstanding which have been issued under this chapter, including the payment of any redemption premium thereon and any interest accrued or to accrue to the date of redemption of such bonds, and, if deemed advisable by the department, for the additional purpose of constructing improvements, extensions, or enlargements of the airport facility or airport facilities in connection with which the bonds to be refunded have been issued. The issuance of the bonds, the maturities and other details thereof, the rights of the holders thereof and the rights, duties, and obligations of the authority in respect of the same shall be governed by this chapter insofar as this chapter is applicable.
