Section 4-37-4-2 - Duties The board shall do the following:
(1) Operate and administer the state museums.(2) Maintain accreditation of the state museums.(3) Collect, preserve, display, and interpret artifacts and materials reflecting the cultural and natural history of Indiana.(4) Prepare and maintain a statewide inventory of the artifacts and materials described in subdivision (3).(5) Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards, as adopted by the American Association of Museums.Added by P.L. 167-2011, SEC. 1, eff. 7/1/2011.
