Section 4-15-2.2-11 - "State institution"As used in this chapter, "state institution" means any of the following:
(1) A state institution (as defined in IC 12-7-2-184).(2) A correctional facility owned by the state and operated by the department of correction.(3) The Indiana School for the Deaf established by IC 20-22-2-1.(4) The Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired established by IC 20-21-2-1.(5) The Indiana Veterans' Home as described in IC 10-17-9.(6) Any other facility owned and operated by the state whose employees participate in the state civil service.Amended by P.L. 189-2018,SEC. 15, eff. 7/1/2018.Added by P.L. 229-2011, SEC. 56, eff. 7/1/2011.
