Section 36-8-16.7-36 - Provider not required to enforce fee collection; collection action by board

A provider is not required to take legal action to enforce the collection of the 911 fee for which a user is billed. However, the board may initiate a collection action. A court finding for the board in the action may award reasonable costs and attorney fees associated with the collection action.
