Section 36-5-1-9 - Denied petition; resubmittal This section applies only to a petition filed after June 30, 2013. A petition for incorporation may not be refiled within two (2) years after the date:
(1) the petition was denied under section 8(b)(2) of this chapter; or(2) of the election at which a majority of voters voting on the public question vote "no" under section 8 of this chapter.Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 18-3-1-8 part.
