Section 35-45-11-1 - Applicability of chapter(a) This chapter does not apply to the use of a corpse for: (1) scientific;(2) medical;(3) organ transplantation;(4) historical;(5) forensic; or(6) investigative;
purposes.
(b) This chapter does not apply to: (1) a funeral director;(2) an embalmer; or(3) an employee of an individual described in subdivision (1) or (2);
engaged in the individual's normal scope of practice and employment.
